Director of Game Design

At Tilting Point we combine data, technology, talent, and groundbreaking marketing to scale games to success. We are currently seeking a Director of Game Design to join our global Product Team!

As the Director of Game Design, you will work closely with the Product and Marketing Teams, and External Partners in delivering best-in-class game production and design.

 

Your Future at Tilting Point
  • Ship and operate mobile games developed externally, orchestrating trade-offs between scope, quality, budget and schedule.
  • Review, advise and create designs to maximize engagement and monetization
  • Help define the roadmap with the Game Manager to ensure long term success of the project.
  • Partner with 3rd party studio as well as internal key stakeholders including Marketing, UA, Production and Operations to help drive execution of the Product’s roadmap.
  • Identify, communicate and solve roadblocks that may prevent the team from achieving their targets.
  • Communicate with IP stakeholders to ensure approval of designs, narrative, and supporting artwork.
  • Participate in the management of 3rd party technology and tools (business intelligence, analytics, A/B testing etc.) to be used by Tilting Point and by development partners.

This position reports to the Chief Product Officer and works closely with Product and Marketing functions, and global external partners.

 
Skills and requirements
  • Deep knowledge of mobile strategy games, their monetization loops, and engagement loops
  • Strong communication skills across disciplines
  • Affinity for the Avatar license
  • Ability to self serve data on a variety of platforms

Location

This position is available both based in Spain or in the United States.
